My research interests include:
- analogue natural computation; dynamical systems as computers and computers as dynamical systems, complexity measures for natural language.
- cognitive modelling, connectionism, language processing
- transportation system (such as railway systems, signalling systems, traffic flow control)
- artificial neural networks, their theory and applications, learning algorithms for artificial neural networks
- biomathematics, biological modelling, evolutionary modelling, population dynamics

I am collaborating with Claudio Avignone-Rossa at Surrey's Microbial Science Division on a MILES founded project to explore Roboustness Properties of Microbial Populations.Publications
