Biography

Malcolm McKee is Strategy, Planning, and Performance Manager within the CIO department of EDF Energy. In this role he manages the development of the EDF Energy IT strategy, the financial planning processes associated with investing in strategic initiatives, and performance reporting for the IT function.

Malcolm graduated from the University of Surrey in 1998 with the Computing and Information technology degree. He subsequently gained an MBA from Kingston University. He spent 10 years at Logica where he performed a variety of technical, management, and consulting roles before joining EDF Energy.

He is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Department of Computing and guest lectures on undergraduate and postgraduate modules – specialising in business strategy and financial justification of investment cases. He is also a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a Chartered Engineer.
