Biography
Mr Mohd Hanif Yusoff was born in Kelantan, Malaysia. He received BSc degree in Information Technology (major in Artificial Intelligence) from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2009, and MSc degree in Intelligent System in 2011 from the same university. He is a lecturer of the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK).
He is now a full-time PhD student in University of Surrey, supervised by Prof Yaochu Jin. His research project focuses on how to associate and model human creativity with neural connectivity in Spiking Neural Network. His research aims to contribute for human thinking process.
Mohd Hanif is a member of the Nature-Inspired Computing and Engineering (NICE) groups led by Prof Yaochu Jin at the Department of Computing, University of Surrey.
Personally, he enjoys ‘MENCALARTS’,playing badminton, riding his bike around, and cooking.

My research interests are primarily in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and also data mining and forecasting systems. Currently, my focusing areas are:
