Biography

He started his PhD study in Cardiff since 2009 and transferred to Surrey in January 2010. His principal supervisor is Dr Saeid Sanei and his co-supervisor is Dr Wenwu Wang (EE, CVSSP).

He is working on Constrained Frequency Domain Convolutive Blind Source Separation (FDBSS) of Speech Signals. In his work he combines Spatial Notch Filtering developed previously in our group with FDBSS to not only better separate the signals but also aleviate the permutation and scaling problems of the FDBSS.
