Biography

Mr Syamsul Yahaya was born in Malaysia. He received BSc degree in Computer Science (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia) in 1998, and MSc degree in Information Technology (Universiti Teknologi MARA) in 2003.

He is now a research student in University of Surrey, supervised by Prof Anthony T.S. Ho and co-supervised by Prof Yaochu Jin. His research project focuses on the video forensics to detect video forgery and camera source identification.

Syamsul is a member of the Multimedia Security and Forensics (MSF) led by Prof Anthony T.S. Ho, and Formal Methods and Security (FMS) groups at the Department of Computing, University of Surrey.
