Biography

After working as an Engineering and Management Consultant for 40 years Robert started a part-time PhD in Evolutionary Modelling in 2009. He has an MA in Engineering Science and an MSc in IT & Management and has lived and worked in Ghana, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. While working on is PhD he still does some part-time consultancy on database architecture, data mining and business process modelling.

Robert's PhD project is to investigate, in a computer model, the development of species in populations of diploid entities which exhibit chromosomal recombination and gene mutation but select mates within a limited geographical range. His supervisors are Dr Andre Gruning and Dr Jonathn Clark.

Robert keeps bees in his garden near Guildford.
