Cloud Computing Research
Overview
Cloud Computing represents the convergence of a number of technologies into a set of service-based offerings. These services may be securely offered across geographically-dispersed systems to ensure availability and reliability. The notions of self-service provision, scalability and elasticity, service levels, and business models represent are particularly interesting.
The Cloud Computing research theme at Surrey provides a focal point for explorations with and using Cloud Computing systems.
