Multimedia Forensics

This research theme mainly covers the following two research topics:

• Digital Image Forensics: Identifying anomalies in the data that can be used to identify the specific camera that
  captured the image and malicious tampering. Accurately detecting High Dynamic Range (HDR) processed images.
• 
  Digital Video Forensics: Scanning video frame sequences to localise unnatural content. Identification of stochastic “fingerprints” that can link video frames to the source of capture, and identify false frames from other cameras.
