Biography
I have a BSc in Chemistry from Bangalore University, India and an MSc in Computational Biology from University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK. I also have an MA in Media and Communication and some experience in scientific writing.
Here at Surrey I am working on a project titled ''Predicting suitable vaccines for foot-and-mouth disease virus based on genetic sequence'', supervised by Prof. Yaochu Jin and co-supervised by Dr.Emma Laing (FHMS).
The project is jointly funded by FEPS and FHMS. I am also a member of the Nature Inspired Computing and Engineering Group.

- Development and application of comparative genomic techniques
- Phylogenomics and genome annotation
