Following a successful funding bid to UACES, the University Association for Contemporary European Studies, several CRonEM scholars from the School of Politics will be travelling to Copenhagen to take part in a workshop investigating the Danish rejection of the Maastricht Treaty 20 years ago.The project takes place on 1-2 November, and is the first in a series of events organised by UACES which allow academics and policy-makers to re-examine key events in the EU’s history. The event will draw on the expertise of academics from both universities, plus several leading policy-makers at national and EU level. Support for the event has also been provided by Politiken, the leading Danish daily newspaper.
