The EU in Crisis: Were the Eurosceptics Right?
Dr Martyn Bond (UK Press Correspondent of the Council of Europe, CRonEM Advisory Board member) vs. Cllr Chris Adams (UKIP)
The crisis of the euro-zone continues, and the EU, plagued by a legitimacy crisis, is responding only slowly. In the UK, polls now show a majority of citizens want to leave the EU. For decades now, most politicians and analysts in the mainstream have argued that the UK is better off in the EU than ouitside it. But is it? After all this time, with an EU in seemingly constant crisis, what does membership bring the UK? Were, in fact, the Eurosceptics right?
All welcome.
