Prof Alex Warleigh-Lack
Alex Warleigh-Lack is Professor of EU Politics at the University of Surrey, where he is also Executive Director of CRonEM. He is Chair of the Standing Conference of Heads of European Studies, and was Chair of UACES, the world’s largest EU studies association, between 2006-9. He is also Asssociate Fellow at UNU-CRIS, Bruges. Professor Warleigh-Lack has published extremely widely on EU politics and comparative regional integration, and has further research interests in Green political theory. His textbook European Union: The Basics has been adopted for teaching on five continents. Before entering academia, Prof Warleigh-Lack worked in Brussels for the then-Chair of the European Parliament Environment Committee, Ken Collins MEP.
