What's your day job?

I am a Senior Lecture in Electronic Engineering where my teaching and research are in the are of electronic materials, devices and nanotechnology.  I am particularly interested in the commercial applications of nanoscience and the use of materials such as graphene and carbon nanotubes.  I am also the undergraduate Admissions Tutor for the department.

What did you do before you came to Surrey?

Before I came to Surrey I was researching for a PhD in quantum condensed matter physics.
