What’s your day job?
I am a Senior Tutor in Translation at the School of English and Languages, with my main areas of activity being scientific/technical translation and computer-assisted translation. I mainly teach on our postgraduate programmes and I also look after the many Greek students we have in our department. You will usually find me on the 3rd floor of the LRC building, next to the Library.
What did you do before you came to Surrey?
Before coming to Surrey in 2000, I was a resident of Athens, Greece, working as a freelance translator.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
When I’m not at work, I’ll be usually watching a good action film, playing poker, or walking/hiking with my camera.
