Claire works part-time as a minister in the Guildford Methodist Circuit with pastoral oversight of Cranleigh Methodist Church. 

Claire trained for the ministry at STETS in Salisbury and was ordained in 2008. Previous to her call to ministry she was in partnership with her husband in their solicitors practice in the West End of London for 20 years. She has an Honours degree in Law from the University of Birmingham and a BA in Christian Ministry and Mission from the University of Winchester.
