Biography

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse with over twenty years experience of working in the NHS, the private sector, and for charities, in settings ranging from acute and secure hospital wards, to addiction treatment, therapeutic community, residential care and day centres.
I believe in working in partnership with my clients to help them understand their condition, and empower them to make informed decisions about how they may obtain their optimum level of health and wellbeing. By doing so, I aim to help make it possible for students with mental health problems to achieve their academic ambitions despite the potentially disabling nature of their condition.
