Biography

I’m a UKCP registered psychotherapist and have been counselling for over twenty years after starting my working life as an English teacher. I’m also trained in Clinical Hypnosis. As well as working with people one to one, I facilitate some of the groups and workshops at the Centre.

I work using a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, based on whatever seems to be most helpful. My starting point is that we all have many more emotional and psychological resources than we think. When we feel listened to and understood by another human being, we can be enabled to realise more of the strengths that help us to go forward in life.
