Once you have completed your online registration, your IT account will be enabled to access your University email and log in and use University computers and printers as well as a range of services including SurreyLearn and SurreySoftware.
The upgraded eduroam wireless network now provides improved speed and reliability, faster connectivity to University resources and increased capacity for more users. The service will continue to be broadcast through the University’s preferred wireless network eduroam. With eduroam you are able to access the Internet not only via the University of Surrey’s wireless network, but also when visiting other participating universities, colleges, research centres and libraries.

As a student at Surrey you will be able to download Microsoft Office applications on up to five devices completely free of charge, during your time at the University.
This means you will have full versions of applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, InfoPath, Lync, OneNote, Outlook and Publisher.

IT Services has introduced a new managed printing infrastructure throughout the campus over the past few months. In addition to ‘follow me’ printing, new features including ‘mobile print’ have been introduced for quick and easy printing on the move from smartphones and tablets.
