We understand the impact that worries about debt can have on your studies. Money and debt advice is available, this service is completely impartial and does not promote any financial product.
When to Seek Help
If you are concerned about a debt or debts, please seek help straight away by booking an appointment for free, confidential, one to one debt advice. Please allow at least one hour for your first appointment.

What Makes This Service Special
We understand how embarrassing it can be to have to explain your situation over and over again to different people and so we provide a one stop shop for money and debt advice.
With your permission, we can intercede with creditors and court staff. We can also help you with many other things which can move your situation forward, such as
- Completing the Common Financial Statement and budgeting
- Identifying problem areas of spending
- Application to the Hardship Funds
- Applications to other organisations, such as educational trusts and charities
- Checking the level of your statutory student funding
- Checking your benefits and council tax relief levels
- Advice on tax, including possibility of tax refunds
What to bring to interview with you
Please bring statements from all bank accounts for the last three months, plus all relevant correspondence.
