Teaching and demonstrating
Each Faculty has its own policy on the allocation of teaching and demonstrating duties to postgraduate research students. If you are interested in undertaking teaching or demonstrating duties you should raise this with your supervisor in the first instance.
In general, priority is given to students who are required to undertake teaching or demonstrating as a condition of their funding agreement.
In all cases, students should attend the appropriate training programme provided by the Researcher Development Programme before commencing duties.
