Abstract:
Object detection is one of the key algorithms of computer vision. This talk will address implementation of object detection in programmable hardware, specifically in FPGA. The implementation of WaldBoost, LBP and LRD feature extraction, memory layout, and prediction of neighbourhood results will be given. A special attention will be paid to the multiscale detection with low consumption of memory and to explanation of the resource utilization. Performance and results will be discussed as well and a future work will be proposed.
