The paper “An Iterative Particle Filter Approach for Respiratory Motion Estimation in Nuclear Medicine Imaging” by Ashrani Abd Rahni, Kevin Wells, Emma Lewis, Matt Guy and Bud Goswami received the Cum Laude award for best poster in Image Processing at the 2011 SPIE Medical Imaging Symposium.
Congratulations also to Stuart James, who won the runner-up best poster prize at this year’s EPSRC Computer Vision summer school. Stuart ‘s poster was on his PhD topic of sketch based video retrieval with semantic constraints.
