Best paper award at VISAPP2012

Mr Brian Holt (PhD student in CVSSP) has won the Best Student Paper Award at the The International Conference on Computer Vision Theory and Applications (VISAPP 2012) held in Rome.
The paper entitled "Static Pose Estimation from Depth Images using Random Regression Forests and Hough Voting" was conferred the award based on the best combined marks of paper reviewing, assessed by the Programme Committee and the paper presentation quality, assessed by session chairs at the conference venue.
