Tuesday 15 January 2013
MA Dance Cultures student Joop Oonk was invited to collaborate with a postgraduate student in electronic music for a research project and festival performance in Leeds.
The piece they created is based on improvisation, whereby a visual circle occurs in the way the performers influence one another other through movement and sound. The work was presented on the 14th of December in Leeds at the International Festival for Innovations in Music Production and Composition and received positive responses by the festival organizers and audiences.
