Our main Careers Fair takes place every autumn and is a great opportunity to meet employers and speak to professionals who already work in the area you’re interested in.
Group employability sessions, to help you develop key skills that employers look for, run every week. Lasting an hour, the sessions include practical exercises that will identify your personal strengths and areas for improvement.

The majority of our students have the opportunity to take part in our Professional Training placement programme. This means a Surrey degree will normally last four years.
The Students’ Union is a not-for-profit organisation run by students, for students. All students at the University are members of the Students' Union and you automatically become a member, free of charge, when you start studying here.
