The talk will be a run through of how we put our short term supply and demand balance together and use this to assess the market


Biography

Richard has worked at BP for 12 years, focussing primarily on the downstream oil industry.  He is currently working in BP’s Economics Team as Oil Demand Analyst, responsible for the company's internal short term and long term global demand forecasts as well as for the oil consumption section of BP’s annual Statistical Review of World Energy.  Prior to his current role, he worked as a Refining Analyst in BP’s European Supply & Trading organisation, a Commercial Planner in  Rotterdam refinery and before this as a Process Engineer, both in the Rotterdam Refinery and the Technology Centre in Sunbury.
