Forthcoming paper in World Development
Tuesday 8 May 2012
Two academic economists from the University of Surrey, along with a US-based colleague of theirs, have a forthcoming paper in World Development, a leading development journal. Within an analytical framework provided by the well known international policy trilemma, Graham Bird, Alex Mandilaras and Helen Popper investigate the empirical evidence concerning the claim that there is a growing Beijing Consensus among emerging and developing economies about the merits of China’s economic policies. The paper is online at http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.worlddev.2012.03.013.
