Biography

Aynur graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Ankara University, Turkey in 2000. She studied her MSc and PhD in Economics at the University of Surrey. During her graduate studies, Aynur worked as a teaching/research assistant. Upon completion of her PhD on “institutions, conflicts and economic growth” in 2008 Aynur joined the department as a researcher. She was appointed as a full time lecturer in January 2010. Her main research interests are in the areas of macroeconomics with a particular focus on economic growth, public economics, applied econometrics and the economics of radio spectrum.
