Research Agenda
The HRG research agenda covers a range of theoretical and empirical issues in the area of health and health services. Much of the work is multi-disciplinary in approach and members of the Group have an extensive network of collaborators within the University of Surrey, and with researchers in other UK Universities and abroad. Many projects are conducted in association with health care providers in the local NHS and nationwide. Most work is externally funded from a variety of sources including Research Councils, NHS, EU, charities and industrial sponsors.
The current research agenda includes the following topics:
- Regulation of health and social care services
- Health services research
- Health insurance and health policy
- Cost-effectiveness of health technologies
- Public health, including exercise and nutrition
