Not to worry, the April issue of LAN magazine has the answer. I quote... "Amazing what you find when trawling around on the internet. Turns out that those peskey 10-digit CD key numbers that Microsoft has taken on board so fondly, are incredibly easy to hack. It seems that the first three digits are completely ignored, and that the sum of the remaining digits, when moduloed with seven, should produce a whole number. So long as the sum of the digits adds up to 7, 14, 21, 29 etc, it is considered a valid key number....." So now you know. Should make your life easier Cheryl! Trevor
