Web Resources for Japanese
BoB (Box of Broadcasts)
The Box of Broadcasts (also known as BoB) is the University of Surrey's media archive service which allows you to search and watch programmes from the archive. The link below will take you to a playlist of programmes which have been recorded on BoB. Watching these programmes is a great way of improving your listening skills and learning about Japanese language and culture.
When you click on a video it will ask you to log in to BoB. You can use your Surrey username and password to log in and watch the programme.

Writing Japanese Characters
An excellent site created by Blake Edward Sterzinger to help students practise writing Japanese characters (katakana, hiragana, and kanji). You can watch each character being formed, then you copy it onto your own paper.
