The School of English & Languages at the University of Surrey is delighted to offer prospective students with the opportunity to attend a Revision Morning in Guildford on March 31st. You will have the opportunity to bring coursework to the university and have academics read and comment on your work. We’ll also be offering exam and revision tips to help you prepare to get the best result in your A Levels while getting a taste of campus life. This is a boot camp to help you get the best grades! Parents are welcome to attend and will have a separate Q&A session on studying English.

Revision Morning Programme (March 31st)

9.30am: Arrival at University of Surrey Campus and Welcome with Prof Diane Watt
10.00am: English Literature Revision Session (how to construct a well-supported argument) with Dr David Ashford
10.45am: Creative Writing Session (workshop skills for university) with Dr Paul Vlitos
11.30am: Finding your perfect job (cracking teaching, publishing and writing internships) with Dr Churnjeet Mahn
12.00pm: Lunch and informal Q&A
