- The event is open to all staff, students and members of the public. The competition is open only to English Lit/Creative Writing students.
Appleseed are running an event to celebrate the launch of Liam Murray Bell's So It Is with the first half of the event being readings from the student winners of the Creative Writing Competition and the second half being a reading from So It Is by the author.
The Creative Writing Competition is open to all English Literature/Creative Writing students at University of Surrey.
To enter: submit a self-contained flash fiction, no more than 300 words, to annotations@live.co.uk by the 10th May 2012 5PM, marked ‘So It Is Entry’.
Prize: 8 shortlisted students will have the opportunity to read their work at the launch in front of industry professionals including Vicky Blunden, Fiction Editor at Myriad Editions.
The winner, announced on the night, will receive book bundle including Myriad Editions bestsellers, The Art of Writing Fiction by Andrew Cowan & signed copy of So It Is.
