Do you know which language attracts the highest number of students to our School? Is it French, German, Spanish or something more exotic such as Mandarin Chinese, Arabic or Japanese?
Actually, it’s none of these – it’s English!
To discover why this should be so and to find out more about what we do to help Surrey students, you are warmly invited to the 3rd floor of the Library and Learning Centre to visit Languages and Translation Studies on Wednesday 30th January any time between 12 noon and 3pm.
There will be a running programme of short, informal talks on all aspects of our work including the Global Graduate Award in Languages and the English Language Support Programme, not forgetting IELTS, the Pre-Sessional English programme and our exciting research projects on translation and video-conference interpreting in legal settings.
We look forward to seeing you.
Free admission
