Biography
Hilary Arnold has been working at the University of Surrey since 2001.
During her career she has taught students from many different nationalities, both abroad and in the UK. She helped establish Slough Industrial Language Centre and worked there for 13 years designing and delivering English for Special Purposes courses in both the public and private sectors. Before coming to Surrey she spent 10 years in Norway working for the Folkeuniversitet in Stavanger.
Her special interests are language testing and materials development.
She has an MATEFL from the University of Reading.
