Ms Christa Saller

Biography

Christa Saller studied at the Austrian universities of Salzburg and Graz. Before joining the University of Surrey in 2004, she was working as a language tutor and freelance translator in Austria and the US.

Christa has been teaching German on the UG degree programmes, the Global Graduate Award in Languages, and the summer evening classes.  She has fulfilled a number of administrative roles, among them UG Admissions Tutor, German Placement Tutor, Peer Mentoring Coordinator and, since September 2012, Programme Director of the Global Graduate Award in Languages. 

Teaching

Christa teaches German language, history and society of the German-speaking countries, translation English-German, German sociolinguistics, and German dissertation & advanced oral skills.  She also teaches German Stage 5 on the Global Graduate Award in Languages.
