Biography

Satori is a sociolinguist and discourse analyst.  Her PhD (awarded in 2009) was a textual and semiotic analysis of the way older women are represented in UK women's magazines.  In addition to her teaching responsibilities at Surrey, Satori also teaches at Goldsmiths, University of London.
