Biography
Wilma Dampier joined the University of Surrey in 1997 after teaching and teacher training in Japan
Teaching
Wilma teaches on the English for University Study programme, the English Language Support Programme and on the degree programme in English for International Communication. Her teaching interests include English for Academic Writing, English for Business and preparation for IELTS. She has been an IELTS examiner since 2000.
Other information
Wilma is a University of Surrey TeNT award holder (2006-7).
Reflective Writing for International Students: Wilma used wikis and blogs as tools for developing English language and academic writing skills for students preparing for University entry.
