Erasmus Students
The School of English and Languages has been welcoming exchange students under the Erasmus/Socrates Programme for many years.
We currently have Erasmus exchange agreements with the following universities:
- Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg
- Comillas Madrid
- Ruprecht-Karls-Univesität Heidelburg
- Sprachen-und-Dolmetscher-Institu Munchen
- Universitat Jaume I Castellon
- Université Jean Moulin Lyon III
- Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona
Students can study English, French, German, Spanish, Translation Theory, Practical Translation and Interpreting.
English Language Programmes are available, and students here for a whole year can also study other foreign languages under the Global Graduate Award

Students studying for a whole year should only take full modules - i.e. not those with ERASMUS, EX or EXCHANGE at the end of the title.
Some modules have very limited availability an may not be available to exchange students.

Accommodation
University accommodation is available to all students studying for one year or semester 2 only. If you are studying with us for semester 1 then you will have to find your own accommodation. To help you do this there will be temporary accommodation available before the start of semester to give you a chance to look around.
