Location
The University of Surrey is located in the picturesque town of Guildford, which is about 35 minutes by train from London. Guildford is set in the Surrey countryside, and is an ideal base for exploring the rest of the UK.
Guildford has all the amenities you will require, including a cinema, two theatres, a range of pubs and bars, several nightclubs, many restaurants and cafes, a distinctive shopping district, several supermarkets, and excellent sports and leisure facilities. The University's state of the art Surrey Sports Park opened in early 2010.

The University of Surrey is renowned worldwide for its highly innovative teaching programmes and its excellent graduate employment record.
Surrey is the highest ranking English university for graduate employment, with 94.8% of first degree full time students in work six months after leaving university.
