Information for Students

SPRING ENTRY 2013

Orientation

Students coming for the spring semester should arrive on Thursday 31st January 2013 for an Orientation Day on Friday 1st February. The Orientation Day will include an Exchange Student Welcome Talk, an opportunity to meet your fellow exchange students, a campus tour, an English test for non-native speakers and meetings with staff in your Department. Teaching starts on Monday 4th February. You will register, get your campus card and have a library tour in your first few days at Surrey. Full details will be emailed to you a week or two before your arrival.

Getting to Surrey

There is no Meet & Greet airport pick-up service for students arriving in February, so you will need to make your own way to the University. You will find travel information in your Exchange Student Guide and at www.surrey.ac.uk/about/visitors/travel/
