Faculty Research

The research conducted in the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences is wide ranging and focused on generating knowledge fundamental to the arts, social sciences and human sciences. It concentrates on applying cutting-edge methods to theoretical advancement, and applying knowledge to real-world issues of policy and practice, working in partnership with research collaborators and users to advance knowledge.

The Faculty has a strong orientation towards interdisciplinary research, diversity and collaboration. It embraces cooperation with colleagues in other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the UK and overseas, as well as partnerships with public and private sector organisations.
