We provide a supportive high quality teaching and research environment, currently catering for a total of over one hundred full-time academic staff and over two thousand students, studying at all levels from undergraduate through to PhD.
Surrey Business School
The Surrey Business School is an entrepreneurial school that takes pride in the high quality of its research and teaching and the employability of its graduates. School of Economics
The School of Economics is ranked 10th in the Times Good University Guide 2012 and offers a range of highly successful undergraduate degrees and post graduate programmes. The school has a strong reputation for research in key areas including Macroeconomics, Energy Economics, Industrial Organisation, Health, Labour Economics, Law and Economics and Econometrics. School of Hospitality and Tourism Management
Ranked number one in the UK by all major league tables, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management has a leading international reputation in hospitality and tourism teaching and research. The School was the first institution in the UK to receive United Nations World Tourism Organisation TedQual certification for both its undergraduate and postgraduate tourism programmes. School of Law
Law has been a part of the University’s portfolio almost since its foundation. Over recent years legal education at Surrey has undergone rapid expansion and the School of Law now has its own dedicated teaching facilities and Law Library. Research interests cover a range of subject areas and focus particularly on European and international law and environmental regulation. The School combines rigorous academic study with opportunities to develop practical experience and is one of only two UK Law schools to offer students a professional training year. More »
Department of Health Care Management and Policy
The Department of Health Care Management and Policy offers an intellectually rigorous MSc in Health Care Management as well as supervising high quality PhD research. The department has a range of research interests in personal, professional and organisational development in primary and secondary care along with an academic staff that includes leading practitioners in this field.
