Academic Information for Incoming Exchange
As an exchange student you are able to choose modules from a number of different degree programmes taught within the Faculty. Agreements are usually restricted to one School, but in some cases students are able to enrol on modules from different Schools/Faculties, timetable permitting.
Please refer to the documents below for an up to date list of modules available to exchange students this academic year. Students can also refer to the main University module catalogue for more information on each module, including learning outcomes and credit value.
All undergraduate modules at the University of Surrey carry 15 Surrey credits, equivalent to 7.5 ECTS. The full-time workload for undergraduate students is four modules per semester. All incoming students must enrol on at least four modules per semester. Students wishing to enrol on more than four modules must provide written confirmation of approval from their Home University before their request will be considered.
Exchange students can also take advantage of our Language courses and programmes. Please follow the link for more information of our pre-sessional English courses and other language courses taught in semester: School of English and Languages.
If you require further advice on academic matters please contact the Inbound Administrator, details found on the 'Contact Us' page.
