How to Apply for Incoming Exchange
If you would like to visit us as an exchange student you first need to contact the Administrator/Coordinator at your home University to express your interest. If an exchange agreement is in place you may then be nominated. Once we receive your nomination we will send you an application pack to complete.
In order for your application to be successfully approved, you must include:
- completed application form
- completed learning agreement
- copy of recent transcript/exam certificates
- academic reference (international exchange only)
- copy of current passport
- IELTS/TOEFL certificate (for students from non-English teaching Universities)
- 2 passport sized photographs
Students who have passed the HKCEE or HKAL in English at a grade C or above are exempt from having to submit an IELTS/TOEFL certificate.
Please send your application to Mrs Zoe Stevenson, by the appropriate deadline (see below). Applications can be sent electronically or by post. See the 'Contact Us' page for address details.
Please note that accommodation is in high demand in the autumn semester, and incoming exchange students are not guaranteed accommodation on campus. The Accommodation Office provides students with assistance in finding alternative accommodation arrangements. Further details are sent to all applicants prior to arrival.
