Cheltenham Science Festival 2012

Cheltenham Science Festival bursaries are available to allow up to 12 postgraduate research students to attend the Festival. A bursary of £700 is proposed for each student, which includes a voucher for £200 to spend on festival tickets and the rest for travel, accommodation and subsistence. Although preference is given to students in FEPS, the scheme is also open to students in FHMS.
To apply, you need to write no more than 250 words on what you think about public engagement in science and whether it is important, and what you might personally hope to get out of attendance at the Festival.
Please pass applications to Alexia Smith (19AA02) by 4.30pm on Thursday 26 April 2012 and award recipients will be announced by Friday 4 May.
