A Reason Big Enough
Tuesday 29 May 2012
The Inspiring Futures Series aims to develop new ways of raising young people's aspirations and achievements. This organisation's primary focus is to support young people in making better decisions about their futures by providing careers advice, careers guidance and careers services.
On Monday 21st May, the University welcomed Professor Noel Fitzpatrick to present on behalf of Inspiring Futures. Noel's talk: 'A Reason Big Enough', explored his career pathway and inspired the audience to look for their Reason Big Enough. This motivational speech aimed to encourage those present to pursue their dreams and provided wise tips on how to achieve them without being hampered by their studies.
Over 100 people attended the talk, many of whom were University students. The event was followed on Twitter, with one audience member tweeting during the event "Currently being inspired #thinkbionic".
This event was filmed and will be available on YouTube in due course.
