Research Interests
Cellular physiology and pathophysiology; environmental medicine and toxicology
1. Excitable tissue: smooth muscle and cardiac muscle
2. Non-excitable tissue: epithelial/endothelial cells, fibroblasts/myofibroblasts/interstitial cells, hepatocytes.
Research strength: Ca2+ imaging, electrophysiology, cell signaling, purinergic function, cell to cell interaction and sensory mechanisms.
