ICNE is based in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK. It enables those engaged in all aspects of nursing ethics - empirical and philosophical - across the globe to collaborate on research and scholarship. In addition to initiating and promoting international research, the Centre also hosts an annual conference, regular ethics seminars and a post-graduate professional ethics summer school.

This ICNE web-site provides opportunities for sharing information (via the Ethicists Network and Links pages) and for updates on ICNE research and activities (see the Events, Research and Nursing Ethics pages).
