Human-Computer Interaction SIG
This page is the home of the Human-Computer Interaction Special-Interest Group (HCI-SIG) at the University of Surrey.
The main activity for this group is to facilitate a cross-disciplinary seminar series at the university to bring together people at the university (as well as visitors), who share a common interest in HCI and UX (User Experience) in general, from all the faculties. The seminars cover aspects such as:
- Social, economic and psychological aspects of technology
- New kinds of interactive technologies
- Theories and models for understanding HCI and UX
- Tools and methods for evaluation of interaction and engagement
The seminars are tentatively arranged for the last Tuesday of every month during semester-time, and will last for approximately one hour at the end of the day (time and venue to be confirmed).
Please let me know if you would like to present at the seminar series. The slots will be booked on a first-come first-served basis.
